With his album Smile {2005} and chocolate {2008} followd by the next level{2009} with Yo Yo Honey Singh he gained recognition in Punjabi music, He started in 2002. He had a part in a punjabi movie Mel Karade Rabba in 2010 and he continue acting ,debuting as a lead role in a punjabi movie The Lion Of Punjab in 2011.
He made his first Bollywood debut in 2016 with the crime thriller Udta Punjab, for which he earned the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut , in addition to a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. This was followed by Good Newwz{2019},for which he recevid his second nomination for the Filmfare Award for best supporting actor. In a reality show Rising Star he has appeared as a judge in three seasons.
He release his 11th album G.O.A.T.. With the following MoonChild Era. At Coachella Valley Music and Arts in2023 he became the first Indian artist to perform.
